Rockford, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled defensemen Klas Dahlbeck and Dylan Olsen from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Dahlbeck, 21, recorded six points (1G, 5A) in 70 games this season with Rockford. The Katrineholm, Sweden, native shared fourth on the club with a plus-11 rating and scored his first professional goal on April 13 at Milwaukee. Originally selected by Chicago in the third round (79th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Dahlbeck tallied 12 points (2G, 10A) in 108 games over three seasons with Linkopings HC of the Swedish Elite League from 2009 to 2012.
Olsen, 22, ranked fourth among Rockford defensemen with a career-high 11 points (2G, 9A) in 50 games this season. The Calgary, Alberta, native recorded a career-high 69 shots on goal and two multiple-point games. Olsen, who was originally chosen by the Blackhawks in the first round (28th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, has recorded one assist in 28 career regular-season contests with Chicago and has appeared in one Stanley Cup Playoff game.
