BID ON ICEHOGS 2017-18 MILITARY JERSEYS

By: Chris Robinson
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs today announced that three specialized jerseys from last Friday’s Military Appreciation Night (presented by BURR Pest Control) will be available for online bidding at the IceHogs' eBay store beginning tonight, Nov. 30 at 9 p.m.

The 2017-18 military jersey features an IceHogs nose art logo; a plane with the likeness of Hammy Hog is front and center against a backdrop of the sky and clouds, with the words “When Pigs Fly” in script above the roundel. The jersey itself contains red camouflage print under the arms, on the sides of the torso and around the wrists of an otherwise all-black jersey. Four stars also adorn the front and rear hemlines of the jersey.

The online auction can be accessed via the IceHogs’ eBay Store and include:

(NOTE: Auction links included below will become live when bidding opens at 9 p.m.)

Each jersey will include a certificate of authenticity. Auctions will conclude next Thursday, Dec. 7, at 9 p.m. Please note, the customizable jersey cannot include the name and number of a current IceHogs player.

Funds from the online auction will then be totaled along with the money raised during last Friday’s live jersey auction, with a portion of the combined proceeds benefitting the Veterans Drop-in Center in Rockford.

For additional information, including in-person payment options at the BMO Harris Bank Center, contact the IceHogs front office at (815) 986-6465.

Next Home Game: The Rockford IceHogs take on the Chicago Wolves on Friday, December 1 at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Be one of the first 2,500 fans through the doors to receive a free Marian Hossa poster, thanks to Hub Printing, and the chance to meet Hossa himself, who will be in attendance Friday night. Tickets can be purchased at IceHogs.com, by calling (815) 968-5222 or in-person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office.
