Hammy will be on hand at the Rockford Public Library’s Amazing Read! Kick-Off Party at the Rockford Public Library’s main branch, 215 N. The first 1,000 kids to register at the party will receive a FREE t-shirt.
Hammer will be joining the Lion’s Club at their Fish and Fun Cookout at Rock Cut State Park from 10 a.m. to noon.
Several members of the IceHogs staff will also join Honorary IceHog Sydney Ives at her benefit at Cherry Bowl at 7 p.m. Ives was named an honorary member of the Rockford IceHogs at a press conference in May. She met IceHogs coach Bill Peters and GM Mark Bernard as well as toured the locker room and arena. For more information about Sydney, visit
