Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs General Manager of Hockey Operations Al MacIsaac announced on Saturday that the American Hockey League club has recalled goaltender Mike Brodeur from loan from Rockford’s ECHL affiliate Pensacola Ice Pilots.

Brodeur is expected to be in Rockford in time for tonight’s game against the Chicago Wolves.  The recall is the second of the season for Brodeur.  The fourth-year puck stopper appeared in two games for the IceHogs earlier in the campaign and has a win under his belt with a .944 save percentage and 2.25 goals against average.

Last week, Brodeur was named the ECHL’s Goalie of Week while guarding the Ice Pilots goal.  In three contests, the Calgary native went 2-0-1 with a 1.59 goals against average and a .947 save percentage.  Overall with Pensacola this season, Brodeur is 5-7-4 with a 3.18 GAA and a .909 SPCT.
