Prospect Kruger Named To Sweden's World Junior Team

Marcus Kruger, the Blackhawks' 5th round pick in the 2009 Entry Draft, has been picked to play on Sweden's World Junior Championship Team at the 2010 IIHF World U20 Championship in Canada.

The talented Djurgårdens IF rookie currently leads his team with 22 points (8 goals, 14 assists) in 24 games this season and sits 12th among all point-getters in the Swedish Elite League.

23 players were selected for the U20 team with 18 having been drafted by an NHL club. Kruger is one of 13 chosen in the 2009 Entry Draft.
