Rockford goes 3-2-0-0 during busiest week of the season
Hot Hog Week 13:
In Rockford’s busiest week of the season, winger Rob Klinkhammer paced Rockford with six points and helped the club rebound from a tough home loss on Monday. Klinkhammer’s week was highlighted by two multi-point games, including two goals in Chicago and the game-winning marker with 56 seconds left in regulation on Friday. One night later, Klinkhammer helped Rockford seal a home win against the Wolves with an empty net goal.
Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Grand Rapids Griffins. Game time is 6 p.m. Rockford finally ventures outside the West Division again when they travel to the Van Andle Arena in Grand Rapids for the first of four games against the Griffins in 2008-09. The game is the first of two in Michigan against the Detroit Red Wings top affiliate.
Friday, Jan. 9 vs. Chicago Wolves. The rivalry resumes at 7:30 p.m. Another meeting between the IceHogs and Wolves at the MetroCentre. The game is the fourth of five on the season in Rockford eighth of ten between the rivals. The first 2,000 fans to the game will pick up a set of 2008-09 Rockford IceHogs player cards courtesy of ComEd.
Saturday, Jan. 10 vs. Toronto Marlies. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Rockford welcomes the Marlies to the MetroCentre for only time in 2008-09. The first 2,000 fans to the game on Saturday will receive an IceHogs baseball hat courtesy of Frito Lay, Pepsi, WXRX and WIFR.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all of the IceHogs regular and post-season games on the Hogs flagship radio station Rockford’s Voice, WNTA-AM 1330 and 30 regular season games on ESPN Radio 1380-AM, WTJK. Fans can also watch and listen to the Hogs on the World Wide Web with AHL Live! Visit the IceHogs Web site (icehogs.com) and click on the “click here to watch the AHL Live” icon, and for just $6, you can catch all of the IceHogs action on your computer. Also, fans with Comcast Cable television can tune in to Channel 57 for all the IceHogs hockey action this season. The broadcast begins with the Pregame Show 30 minutes before the puck drops. Hog Talk Returns Tonight At Cousin’s Bar and Grill:
Bud Light Hog Talk returns tonight at Cousin’s Bar and Grill. Join Jim Stone from 6-7 p.m. at Cousin’s as he chats IceHogs hockey with Hogs Head Coach Bill Peters. Tonight’s show will also feature center Evan Brophey and defenseman Jimmy Sharrow. Stop out to Cousin’s, located on the corner of East State St. and Perryville in Rockford, and take advantage of some great food and Bud Light specials. If you can’t make it out to Cousin’s, tune into 1330 AM, WNTA.
