The Rockford IceHogs, Night Ranger and Pepsi to throw the biggest fall tailgate street party ever in Rockford
Rockford, Ill.- Starting at 5 pm, this Friday night, Elm Street outside of the MetroCentre will be converted into the biggest fall tailgate street party ever in downtown Rockford. Fans can come early for the game and rock out with Night Ranger as they perform their biggest hits on a huge stage in the middle of the street plus there will be contests to win prizes and autumn treats for all ages.
Night Ranger has a string of best-selling albums, selling more than 16 million copies worldwide. The band’s impressive list of instantly recognizable hit singles include “Sister Christian,” “(You Can Still) Rock In America,” “When You Close Your Eyes,” “Sentimental Street,” “Goodbye” and “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me.” The band is set to entertain the thousands of expected fans with a huge hydraulic portable stage pushing 50,000 watts of power for lights and sound brought in just for this event by the MetroCentre.

Fans will be able to register to win prizes including tickets to Saturday’s Blackhawks’ game at the United Center against the Nashville Predators and the fan who sports the wildest 80’s hairdo will win tickets to see the Blackhawks take on the Detroit Redwings on Saturday, December 20 at the United Center.

Center Plate will also be providing plenty of Pepsi, beer, hamburgers, brats, hot cider, hot chocolate and more. There will even be two special autumn themed adult beverages offered, Tail Gatin’ Cider featuring hot apple cider, Makers Mark™ whiskey and special fall spices, and Fire & Ice Hot Chocolate with peppermint schnapps and whipped cream.

Along with hot drinks, tents and special patio heaters will help keep fans comfortable. Immediately after the concert, fans will head inside the MetroCentre and cheer on the IceHogs as they face off against the Milwaukee Admirals in a heated divisional battle.

The first 4,000 fans to the game on Friday will also receive an IceHogs long sleeve shirt courtesy of ESPN Radio 1380 and Guerilla Graffix.
