Chicago, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned goaltender Joe Fallon to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.

Fallon, 25, did not appear in Wednesday night’s game against St. Louis, backing up netminder Cristobal Huet after being recalled from Rockford earlier in the day.

The Bemidji, Minnesota native leads Rockford with 13 wins (13-9-1) and a 2.64 goals-against average and has posted a .911 save percentage in 26 AHL contests this season.  He is also tied for the club lead with one shutout and has limited opponents to two goals or fewer in 11 of his last 17 outings.

Next Home Game: Feb. 13 vs. Milwaukee Admirals, 7:05 p.m. The first 2,000 fans to the MetroCentre will pick up a Mr. Potato Head courtesy of Frito Lay and Q98.5.
