In conjunction with official broadcasting partners Comcast SportsNet, WGN-TV Channel 9 and WGN Radio AM-720, the Chicago Blackhawks have announced the 2012 preseason broadcast schedule. The 2012 slate includes televising three of the club’s six preseason games as well as three contests on WGN Radio.

Comcast SportsNet will carry Chicago’s Sunday, September 30 game at the United Center against the Pittsburgh Penguins (6:00 p.m.) and the Friday, October 5 contest at the Pittsburgh Penguins (6:00 p.m.). WGN Channel 9 will broadcast the team’s preseason finale against the Philadelphia Flyers at the United Center on Saturday, October 6 (7:30 p.m.). All times listed are Central.

The radio home for Blackhawks hockey, WGN Radio AM-720, will air the team’s final three preseason tilts on September 30 (joined in progress), October 5 and October 6. In addition, the club’s first three preseason matchups (Tuesday, September 25 at Philadelphia at 6:00 p.m.; Friday, September 28 vs. Detroit at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, September 29 at Detroit at 6:00 p.m.) can be heard on and on mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, BlackBerry and Droid.
