Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford Park District announced that, due to unsafe ice conditions, the scheduled open skate with the IceHogs at the Eclipse Lagoon behind Nicholas Conservatory on Wednesday night has been cancelled.  Unfortunately, due to time constraints there will not be a makeup date for the event.

Fans, however, can still participate in the final post-game skate of the season on Sunday, Feb. 15 when the IceHogs take on San Antonio at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Everyone with a game ticket for the 4 p.m. matinee will have the chance to skate, take pictures and get autographs from their favorite players after the game’s conclusion. Guests must provide their own skates.

For tickets, head to the BMO Harris Bank Center box office or any Ticketmaster location, call 815-968-5222 or log on to IceHogs.com.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Feb. 14, vs. Oklahoma City Barons: Game begins at 7 p.m. Rockford hosts the Barons for the first time this season in a Valentine’s Day matchup at the BMO. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will also receive a limited edition IceHogs poster.
