Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs announced today that it will host the Great Christmas Tree Giveaway on Friday, Dec. 2 when they take on the Chicago Wolves in an Illinois Lottery Cup matchup at 7 p.m. One lucky fan will walk away with an IceHogs Christmas Tree and fans can enter into the drawing from Wednesday, Nov. 23-Friday, Dec. 2.

Fans have three ways to enter into the drawing to win the IceHogs Christmas Tree - a fully decorated tree with lights, garland and ornaments decorated by every current Hogs player. The tree also features four stocking stuffers with IceHogs goodies like four club lounge tickets to the IceHogs game on Sunday, Jan. 8 versus Chicago and in place of a star on the top is four tickets to the Chicago Blackhawks game on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. against the Winnipeg Jets.

Fans can purchase raffle tickets for the IceHogs Christmas Tree for $5 at games from Nov. 23-Dec. 2. Raffle ticket sales will conclude at the end of the second intermission on Dec. 2 with the winner announced in the third period. The winner does not have to be present at the game on Dec. 2.

Also, fans who purchase Christmas trees for $35 (seven raffle entries) at the game on Dec. 2 or buy a Christmas tree ticket package for $75 (15 raffle entries) will gain entrance into the raffle for the IceHogs Christmas Tree.

The Christmas tree ticket package for $75 includes a six foot Christmas tree and four lower endzone tickets for the game on Dec. 2. Fans can pre-purchase a Christmas tree or Christmas tree ticket package by calling the IceHogs at 815-986-6465, or by stopping down to the BMO Harris Bank Center Box office. There are a limited number of trees available, and depending on the availability of trees, they will also be on sale on Dec. 2 starting at 5:45 p.m.

Fans that purchase a tree or the Christmas tree ticket package can pick up their tree off Elm Street in front of the BMO Harris Bank Center following the Dec. 2 game. Boy Scout Troop 57 will be on-hand to load the trees onto/into vehicles after the game.

The Christmas trees were purchased through Boy Scout Troop 57, who are based at Alpine Lutheran Church. Troop 57’s Christmas tree lot is located at the northwest corner of East State and Perryville.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Nov. 23 vs. Cleveland Monsters at 7 p.m. The IceHogs host the Monsters for the first of 10 Winning Weekday games, presented by Fas Fuel.
