Comcast SportsNet To Televise Magnuson/Pilote Retirement Ceremony Live

Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks in HD, has announced it will televise the Blackhawks #3 jersey retirement ceremony for Keith Magnuson and Pierre Pilote, two of the most exciting and popular players in Blackhawks history, LIVE from the United Center on Wednesday night, November 12 beginning at 7:00 PM.

This historic evening’s coverage on Comcast SportsNet begins with Chevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Live at 7:00 PM with the on-ice jersey retirement ceremony scheduled to take place (approx. 7:20 PM) before the Blackhawks face-off against their “Original Six” foe, the Boston Bruins at 8:00 PM. Reporting on all the jersey retirement festivities from the UC will be SportsNite’s Josh Mora and CSN Blackhawks studio analyst Steve Konroyd.

Pat Foley, who will also emcee the on-ice ceremonies, and Eddie Olczyk call the game action beginning at 8:00 PM. Smirnoff Vodka Blackhawks Post Game Live takes place immediately following the game featuring Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville’s post-game press conference, live interviews with Blackhawks players and a complete post-game analysis.
