IceHogs offense continues to roll in Week 8
Hot Hog Week 8:
Winger Pascal Pelletier put together the most productive offensive week of any IceHogs player so far in 2008-09. Pelletier began the week by setting an IceHogs AHL single-game record when he tallied four goals against San Antonio on Wednesday, including a natural hat trick in the first period. After a goal on Friday at Peoria, Pelletier added a goal and a helper in Rockford’s 5-2 win over the Rivermen on Saturday.
Friday, Dec. 5 at Quad City Flames. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Rockford opens a light two-game week on the road against division rivals with a trip to the I Wireless Center in Moline to faceoff against the Flames. The game is the second between the West Division foes in Quad City and is the fourth meeting overall.
Saturday, Dec. 6 at Chicago Wolves. The game starts at 7 p.m. First place could be on the line on Saturday when the IceHogs return to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont to battle the rival Wolves. The game is the second of the season between the teams, both coming in Rosemont, and is the first of four in the month of December between the teams.
