Shane LawsonStrength and Conditioning Coach
Shane is in his fourth season as the IceHogs Strength and Conditioning Coach. He is also a personal trainer at Peak Fitness in Rockford. Shane is a Certified Fitness Trainer, recently completing his certification through the ISSA.
After getting fed up with himself and his weight of 262 pounds, Shane rededicated his life and changed his lifestyle to focus on fitness. After getting himself back into shape, Shane shifted his professional focus to becoming a personal trainer and a strength and conditioning coach.
Along with his in-season duties with the IceHogs, Shane also assists Blackhawks Strength and Conditioning Coach Paul Goodman with off-ice training at the annual prospect camp, training camp and during the postseason with the Black Aces.
Shane also enjoys disk golf and spends the rest of his free time with his wife and three kids, Jordyn, Logan, and McKenna.
